New talent: Gaia
Just playing around giving new talent ideas.
I think having some hybrid war/mage class could be nice, I sent some other ideas that didn't get much publicity, hope this one is more interesting.
- The Gaia class is a hybrid between mage a war. It uses the forces of nature to create mage-like abilities.
- Gaia's abilities don't require int stat but they do consume mp. However, they have the ability to recover mp from surrounding mobs as well.
- Gaia learns new abilities each 20 levels (rebirth levels don't count). Of course they can be tweaked if they seem too powerful, I tried to leave the most powerful ones to the higher levels. The skills are pvp-oriented to give them an edge over classic mage talents.
- Level 1
- Encourage: circle 1, 15 mp. Surrounding party members get 5% physical damage boost for 10 seconds. Can only be used once.
- Distillate: circle 2, 27 mp. You gain mp equal to 10% of target's current HP.
- Level 20
- Envision: circle 3, 39 mp. Bronze chests become visible on minimap for 3 seconds.
- Icy cage: circle 4, 41 mp. Caster becomes immune to freeze for 5 seconds and freeze status is cleared.
- Level 40
- Lure: circle 5, 49 mp. All surrounding mobs direct their attacks to the target.
- Level 60
- Invigorate: circle 6, 51 mp. A powerful earthly spirit decreases stamina of all surrounding players equal to 10% their current pool and gives it to target.
- Level 80
- Demistify: circle 7, 67 mp. Caster gets 20% protection from all elements for 1 minute.
- Level 100
- Camuflate: circle 8, 76 mp. Caster's footsteps become intermittent to plain sight for 1 minute.
- Level 120
- Attract: circle 9, 97 mp. A powerful wind spirit attracts the target 1 spot to the caster. Fully protected by AMP and PFM.
- Level 140
- Gaia's rage: circle 10, 130 mp. Target gets hit by a lightning (same damage as the nature's one, with the same crush chance). Its element is neutral.
