Easter event
- Automatically triggered on the second Monday of April until the third Monday at 00:00
- Rabbit population increases by 200%, also cats are replaced by rabbits and rabbits are introduced into ML with 400% spawn rate (double of cities)
- Rabbits now have a new uncommon drop called Easter egg (a blue zem) and a new rare called Golden egg (a bright yellow zem). Drop rate is similar but lower to essences and brooms, and they won't go to item drop bag.
- Players now drop Easter and golden eggs if they have them in bag (golden egg is dropped first if they have both)
- New NPC, Easter rabbit, is added in cityhall. It exchanges eggs as follows:
- 20 Easter eggs for a golden egg
- 1 golden egg for 5 tokens, 5 rep or 10 zems
- 2 golden eggs for merien stone, xelima stone
- 3 golden eggs for hero catalyst
- 5 golden eggs for vortex gem
- 7 golden eggs for armor sex changer
- 10 golden eggs for talent change
- 15 golden eggs for two talent changes
Reasoning:
- As opposed to the Halloween event, this is not an exp event. It's a high risk/high reward pvp event.
- Given the easy to kill nature of rabbits, it will encourage more players to step into ML, and they will have less pots and defensive items in bag since they need space to accommodate the eggs they gather.
- The rewards are thought to be something not extremely powerful but things that raiders usually want, like catalysts and talent changes. They can be tweaked for sure, I just wouldn't remove the talent swaps because I think those will be very interesting and make players play the event heavily.
I would love to hear constructive criticism!
Some changes to my idea:
- Bunnies are removed from farm and city during the event. They only spawn in middleland with a good but not great spawn rate, to force people to roam the map.
- Vortex gems are removed from the rewards. Bright green dye is added (3 golden eggs for each, the color being the merien plate one) and 25 event tokens pack (4 golden eggs).
- A gold ml chest can spawn that have only rabbits and drops only eggs (both Easter and gold ones)
