Private dungeons

It would be cool if you can add some new quest-type map. Where you go with a party of maximum 5 people and hunt a full map until you get to the boss and get a reward (could be tokens or a gold chest).
The idea is like a Abaddon map but with max 5 people, private and less mobs.
Maybe the price of enter is 10c and nobody can join except the ones in the party.

This would have to be either exceptional (pay X tokens/gold/coins to enter) or raidable. Can't really have people farming in peace forever.

i like the idea but it have to be limited. For example could be a once a week endless guild dungeon (only available to players in the guild) you can access doing a guild quest. In this dungeon you can have 2 or more "rooms" and once you finis it you can go to the next room (cycling rooms maps) where more difficult monsters appear and each room that is a 10 multiple(maybe a 5) could be a boos room. an example could be:
room 1: 5 ww and 1hc

Room 2: 5 ww, 5de and 1 hc

Room 3: 5ww, 5de and 2 hc

Room 4: 5ww, 5de, 5bh and 1tw

...

Room 10: 1ice wyb

Room 11: 10 ww, 5de, 5bh 2tw

Room 12: 15 ww, 5de, 10bh and 2tw

...

Room 20: 5de and 1 FW

Room 30: 2 ice wyb

Room 40: 2FW

and increasing mobs on each room based on a function so it could have n room each of them more difficult than the previous one (except for boss monsters rooms)

The dungeon is closed if there isn't any player alive and each room start when all players are on the current room (included dead ones)to avoid letting a player on the first run in a safe place to force the dng to be always opened. Also portals to previous rooms or next room are closed if there is an active room with monsters, once the monsters are dead the room is marked as "cleared" and you can go tho the next uncleared room

When a player died he can join the dungeon again chatting with a npc and is automatically teleported to the highest room with a player alive.

Dungeon should be started by a GM or Captain and the highest rank have commands like /kick to kick a afk player from dungeon, it will help in the case a player is dead and the user goes afk. So you can start the next room kicking that player

I agree there. It would also get boring in the long run. The common strategy would be time bound, eg you can complete a dungeon daily.

Or you can complete it over a week and enter whenever you want. Dead monsters don’t return after killing a “boss” in the dungeon.

I think for loot it would be better if random monsters don’t drop (except potions maybe) so that they can respawn if you fail. Rewards can only be obtained by killing boss / completing dungeons. Could also consider better rewards for faster completion, though this would mainly benefit the richest already

Buyin like paying coins to start a dungeon would be more tricky, because the reward needs to add up against the cost.. and if it does, people will just keep paying to do it unlimitedly. Therefore a once per day (easy dungeons for simple tokens like a daily quest) and once per week (hard one with chance on real loot).

Also consider making real loot BoP, because else people make 100 new 140’s, xfer items, and keep farming the dungeons and that’s exactly what we would not want

The best of Helbreath is the pvp outdoor, this game shouldnt have never a "safe farm" like private dungeons, in my opinion.

I actually think the PvM system is the best thing of Helbreath and I would never even go to the open world if maps like Battlefield would exist on this server. It’s just a matter of preference
