I can understand the desire, but it only makes people even more stronger. I think the server needs things to reduce the gap betweeen old and new player and max gear vs entry lvl gear - and not increase this gap further.
Of course if there first would be a stat squish that reduces the effect of all enchanting, then this could be a good idea afterwards. Things like this would also require modification of the monsters health/dmg because PvM would become too easy
