Balance Idea
Thoughts??
When server has a imbalance of maybe 25 (or whatever is deemed problematic) players logging in will be assigned "Mercenary status"
aligned to neither town and guild less, a merc would have rm/hm buffs like a guild master and a small damage and defence bonus (3-5 %).
With a warehouse and city hall(teleports) officer located at Bleeding Island(home) a Merc may not enter towns and is locked to either Middleland or Promiseland depending on level.
To avoid abuse a system of eks by percentage will be in place, ( same town ek 110%, opposite town ek 85% eks will accumulate and be credited when a 100% ek is reached(ek screenshots will save at point of kill)
When the server balance returns to allow a slot to open player will be notified thet they have ben returned to their home town with a 60-90 second warning, at the end of 60-90 seconds the player will be ported to their own town regardless of damage being taken .
RB20 Mercenaries, having completed all Achievements a RB 20 player may choose to play as a Merc at login, the same rules for ek % apply and buffs and only be allowed to enter the ML,TOH 2-3 D4 maps( this player will equip the visual set of the Paladin, but gain stats as per their own sets.
RB Mercs will accumulate AP points and the Merc with the top AP each quarter(season) will receive a Prize of tokens, tablets and a Server title of its own color.
RB Merc may only change status back to townsman under normal logout conditions
This is only the basis of an idea it would require much more thought and work.
I think even DC >> Abby could be possible on Normal merc and RB merc, maybe a balance merc could be recalled to DC or Procella ent if sent home.
