RB20 Rebirth Incentive

So currently there are 100s of RB20's on the server at this point. Adding more rebirths is almost a contentious topic because people are bored but do not want to add more of a power gap between old players and new players. A large portion of the RB20's are bored and do not like to grind mobs or do anything but raid and this is having a compounding factor of adding more raiders to maps while making it harder for new players to level due to more raiders and having less of the player base participating in rebirths.

My idea is that after RB20 you can keep doing additional rebirths but you do not gain anything but the ability to push your max stats past 200. So for every RB done after RB20 you gain the ability to put 3 more stat points past 200 (NOT ADDITIONAL STAT POINTS)

So a RB20 that has rebirthed after RB20 (140+20+1 so to speak) will have a new max stat cap of 203

This will open up a avenue for new builds while not gaining any power to the player. You are either sacrificing offense for defense or vice versa because you will always retain the same amount of stats. Just gain the ability to push higher into your choosen stat

I also think something has to be done with RB20s, but don't exactly know what.

Reise has a crazy idea, but this time it seems he's right. But I still think Reise has some psychological problem.

Even though I fully support adding more rebirths - and even consider this an absolute must to keep the game alive long-term.. I do not agree with the reward proposed

Actually I think just 3 extra stats like normal is not even a problem. Catch-up mechanics to make rebirth 1-15 even easier can handle the gap for power creep.


I’m also open for alternative rewards, just the one proposed by you doesn’t enthousiasm me at all
